Students will watch one 30-minute news segment on television. Write an outline of the content of the 30-minute broadcast. You should list every topic presented. You are looking for any coverage of health & or aging issues but record everything mentioned. List what commercials were run during, before and after the news program. How much time was used for the commercials. What was being advertised in the commericals. List how many pages were used for; sports, obituaries, weather, comics and finally how much was actual news!how many articles were related to health and/or aging issues.
