Guidelines
Assignment Instructions:
Form groups.
Students are to choose a research topic of interest to them relevant to nursing practice.

Instructor must approve group and topic (via discussion board).
Review rubric for additional information.
Present the following using a PowerPoint 20-minute PowerPoint presentation (15 minutes for presentation, and 5 minutes for questions)
All group members must participate in creation of the PowerPoint and delivery of the presentation. Failure to participate will result in an automatic 0 for that student.
Answer the following questions in the PowerPoint presentation:
Based on your chosen research study, assess the need for change in practice
o What is the problem identified in the article?
o Is a change in practice needed?
o If so, how would you convince people that it is needed?
Link problem interventions and outcomes:
o What intervention will you propose to the address problem?
o What will the outcomes of the intervention be?
Synthesize best evidence:
o What evidence will you use to support your intervention proposal?
o How will you search for it?
Design practice change:
o What changes in practice would you suggest, based on the above evidence?
Implement and evaluate change in practice:
o How would you implement this change?
o How would you evaluate whether or not it is effective in making the needed
changes?
Integrate and maintain a change in practice:
o How would you integrate this change throughout the health care facility?
o How would you ensure that the changes endure?
List all references in APA format at the end of the PowerPoint presentation.
