WEEK 1 LECTURE AND DISCUSSION QUESTIONS
Read chapters 1 and 2 of the class textbook and review the PowerPoint presentations located in all PowerPoints folder, once done answer the following questions.
1. Mention and explain in your own words with the proper references the different ways in which older adults have been viewed throughout history
1. Mention and discuss projected changes in future generations of older people and the implications for health care.
1. List and discuss the major theories of aging.
1. Describe the way in which gerontological nurses can apply the theories of nursing to the nursing practice.
Instructions
As stated in the syllabus please submit your assignment in an APA format, word document in the assignment tab of the blackboard titled Week SafeAssign Exercise to verify and attached in a word document in the discussion tab of the blackboard under the forum title week 1 DQ.
Thereafter, all discussions and peer replies will be conducted via the DQ board. Failure to submit your initial DQ response to BOTH the assignments tab and the DQ thread will result in a 0 for that weeks DQ.
Assignment must be presented in a Times New Romans font (APA required), a minimum of 800 words not to exceeds1000 without counting the first and reference page. You must cite and quoted a minimum of 3 evidence-based references excluding the class textbook, electronic references must quote and cited properly and must be from reliable sources such as CDC, FDA, and others.

Due to the confusion and the delayed in open the assignments all assignments are due on Sunday, September 7, 2020 @ 11:59PM.
